Nexans holds a Red List Free Declare Status for a healthier future
Mar 3, 2022Nexans Australia are participating in the Declare initiative. Our Envirolex® and Alsecure® range now hold a Red List Free, Declare status issued from the International Living Future Institute.
The International Living Future Institute created the global Living Building Challenge and Declare initiatives to promote increase the production of sustainable buildings. These initiatives are designed to create a healthy future.
The Declare database ensures material transparency, changing the marketplace for manufacturers, designers and developers.
The Red List represents the worst in class materials and elements prevalent in the building industry, which are known to pose threats to the environment and human health. All product materials are 100% disclosed.
Customers who specify for a green building project can now learn where our products are manufactured, what they are made of and where they go at the end of life, on the Declare website.
