Energy transition: how Nexans contributes to a resilient and sustainable electricity sector

Nexans attended the IEA (International Energy Agency)  Clean Energy Transitions Summit on 9 July 2020 - Towards a Sustainable Recovery

The IEA Clean Energy Transitions Summit chaired by Dr Fatih Birol, the IEA’s Executive Director, represents the key moment in 2020 to build momentum towards international energy and climate goals. This is the year's biggest global gathering on energy and climate, assembling over 40 Ministers from countries representing 80% of global energy use and emissions.

Its goal is to build momentum behind the development and implementation of policies that can help countries create jobs, put greenhouse gas emissions into a structural decline and build a more resilient and cleaner energy sector. This high-level virtual dialogue brought together government leaders ministers, energy industry CEOs, major investors and other key leaders from the public and private sectors from around the world.
